Challenge

Leading insurance company H operated business reporting manually in five key areas: new contracts, activities, claims/payments, and risk management, limiting analysis speed and accuracy. Data standards differed by job, and repeated preprocessing increased IT dependency and limited data utilization. There was a need to strengthen self-analysis capabilities to accelerate data-driven decision-making.

Solution

Designed a self-service data analytics environment that allows business users to directly explore and utilize data based on workflow and analysis objectives. Standardized and cataloged required data for each analysis subject, enabling search and selection of data items by purpose. Automated repeated preprocessing steps and designed job-specific aggregation structures and dashboard templates to facilitate insight generation.
