Challenge

Manufacturing Leader D needed an integrated monitoring system to enhance work safety and security at large shipyard sites. Distributed CCTV systems, low video quality, and a lack of real-time response made it difficult to prevent safety accidents and manage security. An intelligent security infrastructure capable of proactive prevention and integrated management, beyond simple surveillance, was required.

Solution

The company built a centralized system based on the ONVIF standard, enabling integrated management of heterogeneous cameras on a single platform. The company established a CCTV-dedicated network and implemented multi-layer firewalls to prevent external intrusions and facilitate internal network segmentation. Additionally, the company implemented abnormal behavior detection and real-time alert functions to proactively respond to safety incidents and security threats.

Results

  • 100% integrated management of heterogeneous CCTVs: Efficiently control and monitor various equipment
  • Systematized video data management: Enhanced post-analysis capabilities with quick search and playback functions
  • Improved prevention of industrial accidents and security incidents: Real-time detection of risky behaviors and abnormal patterns
  • Maximized operational efficiency: Optimized manpower and costs through centralized monitoring
